Mental Health Awareness Week 2017

This week is officially the UK’s Mental Health Awareness Week (8th – 14th May) – an annual event hosted by the Mental Health Foundation. To mark this important occasion, our films on children’s mental health – ‘When I Worry About Things’, have been released.  This years theme is ‘surviving to thriving’ – looking at how normalised anxiety, stress and depression have become within society, as many face daily battles to keep their lives on track. 

Our series  ‘When I Worry About Things’ explores the experiences of six children who suffer from mental ill health. Each of these five films tells the unique story of what its like to live with a mental health problem and how this can impact a young person’s life.
